Purchased from Olympic Andalusians in 2000, Sienna represented our first
foray into Andalusians, starting us on our love for the breed and the journey
which we now find ourselves now on. Revised in 2003, Sienna is 16HH with a
classic Andalusian face and lovely smooth movement. The first Andalusian Anne
rode, both she and her coach were impressed at the fluidity of Sienna's movement
and her willingness to yield. Sienna is a great brood mare giving us beautiful
foals every year since 2003. Her sire is the beautiful bay PRE stallion OA
Mareo winner of several gold medals for movement and showing very well in
dressage. Her dam is Olympia whose lines go back to Temerario V and Coral.
VMF Valencia (2005)
Foaled in 2005 and full sister to Valiente and Valioso, Valencia is a very
lovely gray inscribed PRE filly. Out of our mare OA Sienna and sired by Quimerico
KF, she also has Habon II, Estimado V and Valenciano XXI in her bloodlines.
She has very nice straight movement, a beautiful top line and should grow
to 15.3HH. Valencia will be entering into brood mare status next year when
she will be bred to Manolete. Watch out for that foal in 2009, it should be
a winner.
VMF J-Lo (2003)
Foaled in 2003, this gorgeous registered black-bay ½ Andalusian mare
looks more PRE than many PRE mares do. With her huge extravagant mane and
tail, she looks like she is right out of the movies. J-lo's sweet, trusting
disposition is also a plus that she passes on to her foals.
She has two foals
to her credit: Gaviota – a two year old, ¾ Andalusian black bay filly
and Sylvestre – a yearling ¾ Andalusian black bay colt. Both foals
are extremely beautiful with excellent conformation, huge manes and wonderful
temperaments. .
Inez VW (2005)
Valhalla Andalusians is proud to announce the purchase of Inez VW. She is a 3 year old PRE mare of incredible breeding and beauty. Hand picked by Warren Mather, Inez was purchased in June and taken immediately to Warren’s barn for training and preparation for the 2008 US Nationals in Forth Worth, Texas.
Finally Estampa MA has grown into her great long legs. This mare was picked for us by Warren Mather of “Choice” when she was only three days old. Purchased from Mario Contreras’s barn (near San Diego), Warren had promised me that Estampa was going to be a superstar! Daughter of Multi-National Champion, Ocioso, Estampa is making her papa (and Warren) proud.
